		<description>Perhaps I should clarify. This isn&#039;t a racial thing; it&#039;s an environmental thing. A Chinese student growing up and educated in China will have a much different experience than a Chinese student growing up and educated in the US. Plus, as Natalie stated, creativity is pretty sparse regardless of what country you are in. My point is that in certain cultures and institutions where conformity is stressed, creativity (and individualism as a result), can suffer.

As for my education, I was intellectually butt-kicked by students of all races and backgrounds :-)</description>

		<description>There are just as many creative and talented Asians (percentage-wise) as any race/culture. In any place, field, or culture, the majority conform and only the minority are creative.  Think there is creativity on television, in the arts, etc. ?  No most is the same stuff over and over again.</description>
