		<description>When I graduated, I felt the same sort of let down that you describe here.  I think it is because you move from a system that you know and understand and is very straight forward, to a system that is totally different, you don&#039;t understand, and is not very straightforward.  The system I&#039;m talking about is that in school you go to class, learn, do a test, get a grade.  In the work environment it is very different.

Aside from that, I went through a few years of thinking...wow I went to school, got my degree and now I&#039;m going to sit here and work the rest of my life?  Get paid and live?  This sucks!

Then I started getting motivated again, started a masters program and have started learning on my own through reading and networking.  I think continuous development of skills and knowledge is important so that your career progression doesn&#039;t flatten out or halt altogether.</description>
